We are working at full steam—and often, pushing even beyond that. We ask for a little more patience regarding the creation of the next 25 short films, for as the old adage goes: Good things take time. But we have excellent news: Budapest Filmbox 2 is anticipated to arrive in the Summer of 2026. The narrator for these new films will be a deeply beloved and acclaimed Hungarian actor—though for now, we are keeping their identity a secret. In the meantime, we are continuously scouring the archives for the most exquisite and compelling imagery, ensuring that every episode is a worthy successor to the first Filmbox in both theme and visual splendor.
We can, however, unveil this much: there will be dedicated episodes featuring the city’s mystical statues, its vanished palaces, Budapest’s Main Street, and its grandest edifice.
